Middle Class? Bullshit!
Let me talk about this so-called middle class. In the last 2 yrs my family of four supposedly moved into the middle class and nothing has changed. We still live the same way we did before. We still have the same amount of money after taxes, bills, insurance, etc.
Before: My kids qualified for medicaid. Now: We pay lots of dollars for insurance + copays plus things that aren’t covered. If my babies were still wearing diapers, drinking formula— we would be screwed!
I worked until my 2nd son was 6 mos. old. Between daycare, fuel to get to work and paying for insurance I was PAYING $1 an hour to work! Anytime I have thought about getting a job again, it just seems impossible.
There is no middle class. There are people barely getting by and there are people using their extra money to keep suppressing those without.
